What is not in that estimate?
Taxes, any extra charges, replacement hardware and optional accessories are not included. This calculation assumes uninterrupted service and unchanged plan pricing. It is a budgeting example, not a checkout quote.
Check before placing a deposit
Review cancellation and refund terms, the shipping estimate, the service start date, and coverage where your child will use it. Ask how billing works if shipment is delayed and what happens if you stop the wireless plan.
Is the monthly bill worthwhile?
That depends on whether your family needs reliable check-ins away from home. Compare the complete cost with other options that serve that same need. A low upfront payment should not be the deciding factor.
